Fatbet Poker review

Fatbet Poker is a European oriented poker room, which does not accept players from the US plus a bunch of other countries like Australia, Canada, Singapore, and Turkey. It is a relatively young online poker room (launched sometime in 2007) but it is definitely an up and coming operation, seeing spectacular growth in several respects.
Currently, Fatbet Poker is looking for poker pros to represent the site at high profile live events, so there will be plenty of promotionssending players to live events.

A member of the Melita Gaming Network, Fatbet Poker has gone from a little fish in a big pond to a big fish in a little pond.
Their software is simplistic, which is not bad, but it lacks some features other online poker rooms have. The lobby is excellent though, easy to navigate and the whole package is extremely fast and reliable (another advantage of the simple graphics).

Fatbet Poker gets around 1,000 players at peak hours. Obviously, most of these guys focus on the small stakes cash game and the low buy-in tournament tables. It is theoretically possible to play at EUR50/100 cash tables, but you won’t really find action there. Things usually stop at EUR20/40, which is not bad either.

Tournaments-wise, Fatbet Poker isn’t exactly on the same level as the industry leaders. Rarely will you find larger than EUR 500 GTDs there, and the SNG action isn’t overly impressive either.
As far as player loyalty goes: Fatbet Poker has a FPP based loyalty system where for every EUR1 in generated rake, players pick up 5 FPPs. These points can later be used as tournament buy-ins.
